Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum Ice Cream (No Churn!)

Cotton Candy & Bubble Gum No Churn Ice Cream

I feel like almost all my recipe have to do with my husband….and this one does too.  My husband and I have been on an ice cream binge for the last few months and every time we go to an ice cream shop my husband looks for two flavors – bubble gum and cotton candy.  Unfortunately – every single place we went to for the last three months  did not offer his favorite unnatural flavors. I wanted to do something nice for him so I decided to make it at home!

Cotton Candy & Bubble Gum No Churn Ice CreamThis ice cream is super creamy and rich! The flavors remind me of the cartoon ice cream bars with the little gumball eyes that I got from the ice cream truck when I was younger. I tried to find gum balls to mix in, but no one carries them anymore! I eventually added Airheads minis to make up for it – and my hubby loved it! Next time, I’ll add more food coloring, the color got a little muted after I froze it.

Cotton Candy & Bubble Gum No Churn Ice CreamThis would be great for a carnival themed party or a birthday! Or if you’re like my husband, an everyday treat. He’s already halfway done with the quart of ice cream I made him.
