Sev and Chana Chocolate Bark

Sev and Chana Chocolate Bark | Milk and Cardamom

Ok I know I sound crazy and weird but I SWEAR to you this tastes amazing! When I initially came up with this idea I wasn’t sure if people would be into it as much as I am but after consulting with some of my fellow desi food bloggers I decided to go for it! I made a salty and sweet chocolate bark topped with turmeric roasted chickpeas, nuts and sev. Sev and Chana Chocolate Bark | Milk and Cardamom

For my non-desi folks- sev is deep-fried chickpea flour that is super thin and crispy. It’s used as a snack or as a topping on chaats! Haldar roasted Chana are chickpeas that are roasted and spiced with turmeric. The sev and Chana add a nice saltiness and texture to the bark and it is SO DAMN GOOD!  I also threw in roasted peanuts, pistachios and red sprinkles to make it festive!
